Mechanic's liens — When a contractor or subcontractor has been promised payment, and has not received it in a timely manner, the aggrieved has the right to file a mechanics lien, which places a security interest on the property. The owner may not sell the property until the debt is paid.

Breach of contract suits — When the terms and conditions of a business contract are not honored by one of the parties involved, most business people try to resolve the dispute amicably. If neither party can come to an agreement, commercial litigation may be filed, and the matter turned over to a judge.

Business collections — We serve business clients seeking to collect money owed to them by other businesses. After you call us, we move quickly to recover the funds owed to your business.

Cost Effective Representation

When a client retains us as counsel, we get to work quickly. If the concern is a collection claim, we gather the facts, then send out a demand letter, to which the defendant has 7 to 14 days to respond. If our client decides that pursuing litigation is in his or her best interest, we ask for a retainer and arrange hourly billing.

We know from experience that commercial litigation is often costly and time-consuming. We look for ways to resolve disputes cost effectively through settlement discussions, sometimes through pre-trial conferences involving a judge.
